Board Game Night
for Adults
Wednesday, June 14th at 6:30PM
Judith Clini Community Room
Celebrate the joys of a good old game night with board games and snacks! We’ll have games on hand like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, and more – but feel free to bring your own.
There will be multiple tables for multiple games, so bring a friend or meet some like-minded gamers at the event. Light refreshments like cookies, cupcakes, and juices will be available. This is a drop-in event for adults.

A Local Author Fair
Monday, June 26th at 6:30PM
Judith Clini Community Room
Join us as nine local authors share their voice! Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet nine local writers. Books will be available for purchase and signing and each author will have a few minutes to discuss their latest book. Refreshments will be provided.
Information on all of our summer programming will be available this evening as well. This program is sponsored, in part, by the Agawam Center Library Association. Please register online or by phone.

"Find Your Voice"
Tea & Trivia
Thursday, June 29th at 3PM
Judith Clini Community Room
Join us for a fun afternoon of tasty tea and Jeopardy-style trivia themed around our Summer Reading Program, “Find Your Voice”! Come by yourself or with a team, and prepare to have your wits challenged.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning team! This program is for patrons ages 18 and older.

ChairFit & Chair YogaFit Flow
Mondays at 9:30AM - 10:30AM

Instructor Mary Ellen More will alternate weeks, teaching a ChairFit class on & off the chair (cardio, weights, stretch bands, balls and balance) and a Chair YogaFit Flow class (designed in and out of the chair that alternates flex with flow: strength training with total body stretching along with deep breathing).

Sticks & Strings

Bring along your yarn and knitting needles or crochet hooks and spend the afternoon with like-minded crafters!

This is your opportunity to ask your computer and other device questions of knowledgeable peers.
If there are other “techies” interested, they are most welcome to come and join in providing help with devices.

ESOL Classes

This course with instructor Giselle Rose-Burroughs is open to all adult learners who are looking to improve their English in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course will cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and various aspects of conversational English.

Agawam Chess Club

Stop by Agawam Public Library’s new chess club, open to experienced players and interested beginners alike! Instruction, strategies, and tactics will be provided to anyone wishing to learn how to play. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chess sets.

2nd Thursday and 4th Tuesday at 6:30PM

Do you have a great sense of humor? Are you interested in meeting new friends? Join us for lots of games and brief discussions on the basics of improv comedy. Practice public speaking, cooperation and team-building, grand philosophical ideas of wellness and wholesome optimism, and also sometimes shouting a whole bunch! This is a great chance to come out of your shell – we’re just making it up as we go along!
