Adult computer classes will be offered at the Agawam library on ten consecutive Mondays, from May 6, 2019 to July 15, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Depending on the needs of the applicants, the sessions will be for beginners and cover the Windows 10 operating system, surfing the Web, and working with Email, or the sessions will be for those applicants who already know the basics and are ready for tips and tricks in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

The Library will be closed Monday April 15th in observance of Patriot’s Day.

Local author and businessman, Marty Balboni will visit to read from discuss his autobiography. His book contains many amusing anecdotes of his life in North Agawam during the 1950’s and 1960’s. As of February 28, 2019 our snow policy for children’s
& teen programs now reads as follows:
“When Agawam schools are CLOSED due to weather, all children’s and teen programs at the Agawam Library on that day will be CANCELED.
In the event of a DELAYED OPENING due to weather at the Agawam Public Schools, morning children’s and teen programs at the Agawam Library will be CANCELED. Afternoon and evening programs will continue as scheduled.
In the event of an EARLY DISMISSAL due to weather or CANCELATION OF AFTERNOON/EVENING programs at the Agawam Public Schools due to weather, afternoon and evening children’s and teen programs at the Agawam Library will be CANCELED. Morning programs will run as scheduled”
