Circulation Department
The Circulation Department is committed to providing excellent customer service. You may borrow, return, or renew items at our circulation desk. We will hold reserve items for you, and will notify you when items are being held by phone or e-mail. We are glad to direct you to a particular area of the library and the appropriate staff to help you. The Circulation Staff is committed to making your visits to the library enjoyable ones. CW/MARS Library Network
The Agawam Public Library belongs to the Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing, Inc. (CW/MARS). This is a network of public, academic, special, school, and regional libraries in central and western Massachusetts.
As part of this network, patrons may now use one card to borrow materials at most of our surrounding public libraries.You may also return materials, pay overdue fines, and pay for lost items at any member library. You may click for a list of public libraries belonging to CW/MARS, and may click for a list of all CW/MARS libraries.
As part of this network, you are also able to perform the following functions at any member library, or from your home:
- access the catalogs of all 140+ member libraries
- renew your items yourself
- check your record yourself
- reserve books and other items
