Computer Access

The Library has twelve adult, six young adult, and seven children's computers for public use.

Use of the computers is free with a CW/MARS library card in good standing or a picture id for our out of area patrons.

Reservations
Computers may be reserved for 60 minutes.

Computers are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis; however reservations may be made up to 24 hours by calling the Reference Desk at 413-789-1550 ext. 112.

Computers may also be reserved for any time during the current day by using the reservation station in the library.

Printers
Each computer is networked to both the color and black and white laser jet printers.

The library gives each patron $1.00 worth of printing free a day. The fee for each black and white page is 10 cents a page, and each color page is 25 cents a page.

Software
Our PCs are running Windows 2000 and the Microsoft Office 2003 and 2000 Packages (including Word, Excel, Access, Photo Editor, PowerPoint, Publisher, Microsoft Office Picture Maker), Corel Office 2002 (including WordPerfect and Quattro Pro 10), Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI Adobe Reader, ITunes, Paint, QuickTime Player, Microsoft Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, CD burning software, and scanning software.

Floppy Disks and CD Disks
We offer floppy and CD disks for one dollar.

Wireless Access
The Agawam Public Library now has wireless Internet access available to the public. Patrons with a laptop or other devices with wireless capabilities are able to browse the Internet at the library.
